My first employee back in the early 90's was a young man by the name of Robert Obenauf. Robert was a student at the U. of Idaho and was looking for part time work as a carpenter's helper. I recall him talking about his parents. They lived in Peck, Idaho, worked for the Forest Service, and were into raising bees. Robert finished school, got married, and moved to Boise to start a career, I believe.
A couple years ago I bought some Obenauf's LP boot wax at a local store. Good stuff. Made from bees wax, designed for fire fighters, and made in good old Peck, Idaho, USA! Hmmmmm maybe there's a connection?
Well recently I bought some pre-waxed Obenauf's replacement boot laces. Hands down the best replacement boot laces I've ever come across. Give them a try, I think you'll be happy with them.
