How terribly sad. But her whole life was centered on taking risks like this and without them she wasn't really living. (see time stamp 20:32 or original video)

I was blown away with their Lhotse film, just crushing news when she went missing. I really feel for her kids and family, but now Jim has lost his first wife and kids in a plane accident, now Hilaree too. Hopefully he has some people in his life to keep him from going to a really dark place.
