Show me your square body

I'm a healthen.
I never had a chebby, jimbo,or doggie post 1960's. You know ,when they were GOOD.

But I'd trade my Tacoma for a 65 Ford . Had 2 a F-100 and a F-250 4x4. I finally sold both for more than I paid for them with 450k and 560k on them and regretted it after.

I do like my rounded 2001 F-150 offroad.

1980 IH Scout II with the factory turbo diesel, Dana 44 axels, and Dana 300 transfer.

Restored it, then dumbassery overtook me and I sold it because I didn't want to bother moving it from SD to CO.

Sold it to the guy that painted it. He turned around and sold it on ebay for 3x the money.

That is a sad tale. Scouts were tough rigs, bet the turbo diesel was a torque monster.

Went out to the barn to take a picture of the ol girl. Wish they still made them this way, ide buy a brand new one for 50k before I spent that on the stuff I see at dealers today. I dont care if they ride rough, I don't care if they break down, I don’t care if I cant hold 75 going up a grade in colorado. Some common sense, patience, and a socket set usually takes care of any problem Ive ever had… Including a blown motor in Yuma AZ…

My first truck with my first deer. I was 17 but looked 13. Truck was a 1985 GMC Sierra, I worked part time at Kentucky Fried Chicken my senior year to make the payment which I think was around $180 a month.
Got my 94' senior pics taken with it. Was able to keep it for a few years but regrettably didn't hold onto it.
Found another similar to it around 26 years later.
It's a 1986 Chevy Silverado.IMG_20230327_154722.jpgScreenshot_20230327-154509.pngScreenshot_20230327-154553.png

Jeesh. Had a 76 I met my wife in. Still have the back half of the frame for a trailer. The chrome piece in the middle of the tailgate on for the garage wall. Yeah lots of memories there.
Tried a diesel but didn't take long to change my mind.
I now drive a 1979 El Camino and a 76 F-250 with a hot 390. And my swamp buggy is a later 50s gmc.20221220_133144.jpg
