I’m down for the count right now as well , but my recovery is 4-6 weeks sounds like , started having heel pain in late October 24 and like a guy just put it off and dealt with it , by October of 25 I knew I needed surgery for what ever it was but I wasn’t gonna miss hunting season , figured I’d suffered this long another few months ain’t gonna make a differenceView attachment 403334
Well, I finally did it - rotator cuff repair, labral tearing/fraying repair, tendonosis, and shoulder decompression/bone spur removal. While it sucks that I had to sacrifice the last half or so of ski season, the timing is such that I should be doing pretty well by next hunting season. I'm about 2 weeks post-op at this point. Loosing my mind from boredom and sleep depravation. I'm told I should be able to bowhunt again, once all healed up and rehabed, so that's encouraging - haven't been able to effectively do much with a bow for the last several years.![]()
After X-rays and an MRI the jury was still out on what was growing in my right heel , had my exploratory surgery earlier this week and they pulled a 1.18 inch lipoma out of my heel ! Crazy

I’m sure everyone will feel sorry for me having to sit on the couch for all of March Madness
Looking forward to hiking again later this year, I love to just go exploring in new spots didn’t hike at all last year till hunting season and I was usually limping a half mile in for the rest of that day in the field ….. yee Yee
Get well soon @Brian in Montana

Cheers to sitting around getting fat ! I’m gonna be going mental and and climbing the walls in the near future
