Welp for my 39th birthday my daughter got a button battery stuck in her ear, for my fourtieth i dislocated my shoulder and tore my labrum. That was 13 July this last summer. By 17 September I was on the operating table and basically lost the entire Fall bow and rifle hunting. The week my sling came off, I went for a drive and sat (which I hate by the way) on a field for about 30 minutes and it actually paid off. It has all made for a hilarious story.

I'd call that a bonus! Getting out at all after that surgery is a bonus. I had the same thing done after deer season several years ago. It made ice fishn interesting but didn't keep me from it either. Congrats on making the best of a not fun situation! ps. Do your rehab and then some or you will regret it when you are old!
