I don’t think I’ve seen it this green this late into the summer. Should make for a good fall. The 275 trees I planted this spring are sure loving it too

Couple weeks ago I hit the elk mountains to hang my cams and it was so lush still! 6 years I have never seen it that green at the beginning of july. Felt like I was on the wrong ridgeline.

Northern New Mexico, where I was for the last 3 weeks or so, is also amazingly green. Deer, Elk and Pronghorns are all looking plump and in fine fettle. It does seem like an amazing year out there.

I just checked webcams on the National Weather Service website and it really is incredible how green it is in north central WY. It'll be interesting to see how long it stays that way.

Another couple weeks and it will start browning up good with all the grass starting to head out

Western SD and Eastern WY are very green. Those lucky enough to pull a tag should have some options.
