Passed up the largest caribou I had ever seen 300 yards from my tent on a Tok sheep hunt. I went home with neither sheep nor caribou. I've convinced myself it was the right decision, if for nothing than to help me sleep at night.

Wow that’s a beautiful caribou. Definitely top of the bucket list animal for me. The sheep hunt would be over and I’d be packing caribou instead.

And why can't you take both? It is some sort of rule, or just an issue of logistics and being pragmatic?
