A friend sent me some pictures of deer near where we will be hunting in New Mexico on Saturday. This were fairly low and Brnadon says he has seen bigger ones further back in where we will actually be hunting, but didn't have his camera.

I'd be happy with this guy, though.

Fuel tank.....

LMAO! No - just a bunch of maintenance items. I only drive this truck now when we are going camping or on some hunting trips where I Might need the 4x4. (Although with the price of gas, I have driven the Honda van the last couple times I went - I just walk further.) Oil change with synthetic oil, new air filter, fuel filter, front brakes and rotors, a new battery - ouch!

I've been fortunate up to this point, I guess - nothing but oil changes and one set of tires on a 2002 truck purchased in Nov 2001. The truck has hauled the toy hauler, mostly, and the grapevine can be hard on brakes.

It will probably cost me about $1,000 in gas by the time I get home, too!

Cali, pull up to the gasoline pumps that aren't marked 'non-resident.'

I didn't even try to do the math on the solo trip to Co.

I got them to come down over $100 on the bill.....damn Ford dealer.

It's not exclusive. I took a truck home to test for the weekend from the Chevy dealer here a couple months ago, after getting them to lower the price almost $4k. Sunday night I get on their website and see the same truck listed for $2,700 less than the original price they gave me! I took it back Monday morning and explained why I would never buy anything from them again, and they said you have to ask for the "internet price.":mad:
