I'd pour it in a glass, blindfolded
I like the 6x36 a lot, but I'll be using this gun for whitetail hunting some and can see the benefit of the 2.5x.

The 2.5x8 VX3 is one of the best scopes for the money. I love mine. Looking for another for the Whelen.

Sounds like the issue is resolved. A buddy of mine that has an M4 of mine on semi-permanent loan said he was sending me a scope in the mail, on semi-permanent loan. He wouldn't tell me what it was, but said he was pretty sure I'd be happy with it.
