I am having to have a bone spur removed from my foot. I will hunt in a walking boot, deer can't see my feet in a tower stand anyway lolololol. I hope your hip heals quickly.

They gave me a sweet ice machine. Honestly right now the bad thing is the dumb brace they have me in.Rest, ice machine and PT. You got this.
I had total knee replacement on the 21st, so I'm at the 2 week point. My big issue so far is that I went 6 days without sleep. Not zero sleep, but about an hour a day, and never felt sleepy. Any issues with sleep?Well I am at the 3 week mark. I am stir crazy but still sore enough that I'm not back to work yet. Things seem to be healing well and I'm out of my brace. I can possibly lose the crutches next week. Just started putting weight on the leg today and so far so good.
I think I may even be able to get some camping done this summer.
On the meds, I found when my partner had a Hip replacement that staying ahead of the pain curve was important. a written pill plan with times and cell phone alarms was key. You are probably well past that point by now. One thing i learned though is a combo of Ibuprofen and Tylenol either together or alternating is a powerful combo (This does not constitute medical advice. Talk to your doctor)Surgery is complete. Took an hour longer than expected but everything went well. Not feeling too bad but we will see in a couple days once the meds wear off. I'll be chasing sheep in my dreams.
