Say it aint so....

I used to drink a lot of Schlitz at an old dive bar in Chicago when I was a younger man. Good times.

It was also the first can of beer I ever drank when I was a teenager on a duck hunting trip on the south shore of Long Island with my uncle many years ago.

Start at around 1:10 for the Schlitz reference. I didnt know wtf schlitz was when I was a youngster and that movie came out..

I am fairly certain that Schiltz beer is the first beer to touch my lips.

Way back when I was a child, my father was in the Air Force. He was stationed in England. The airbase had a fast pitch softball team, that competed with the other bases in the area. Anyway, the fans obviously liked to drink beer. There were open 55 gallon drums filled with empty beer cans, mostly Schiltz beer with yellow jackets hovering around. The games provided my first paying job. If you retrieved a foul ball, you got paid with something from the concession stand.

A lot of cool history of Chicago in those old neighborhood bars.

What are they gonna serve now?
