Saturday was a great doy to be a puppy

My 13 month old GSP Hildie got 4 points and 4 backs. I shot 7 chukar over her and my son got 2. She did a wonderful job. I wish I would have remembered my camera. Ron

I'm heading out in the a.m. for a day of pheasant and sharps. I do miss chukar hunting a lot.....The mountains and the solitude while upland hunting is very unique.

What a great day. I have a 7 month old Pudelpointer and he's just starting to get things figured out. He's pointed about two dozen quail and chukars so far. He's a natural retreiver and backer. I hunt him one day with 11 year old Scout, and the next time by himself.
