MY thought is that the Secretary of the Interior ignored the Governors of Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada and Montana as well as the Western Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies to press ahead with a scheme backed by a couple of oil and gas entities and Rob Bishop.
This move throws over a decade of work between states and the fed in to question and rather than take a scalpel to the plans and make some good adjustments, Zinke is setting up an massive erosion of public land management for true multiple use that includes wildlife habitat and hunter opportunity.
