I am down to about 35 rounds of my magic .264 Win Mag load with RL-26 and 118HHT Hammers.

I will soon need to work up new loads for 6.5 WBY RPM with 125HHT.

My research is pointing me to Viht N565 as the best replacement. I have had good luck with my new workups using Viht powders.

I'm wondering if anyone has done any specific work to replace RL-26 yet. What were your finding?

I'm reading Hammer's load data today looking at other options. I have a few of these powders in the cabinet.

N560 to N570 each having slightly different burn rates. N570 may be the closest of the bunch to RL26 but N565 is probably better for your application

Steve at Hammer might be able to walk you through the best option

I switched to 4831sc (in my 7 mag) because I couldn't find any other vihtavuori powders available. I pretty much got the same results as my RL26 loads.

N560 is the first that comes to mind. I'd think N565 is a little slower burning with less velocity potential depending on the application.

I've been looking into this as well. What I've found is that it seems that N560 provides greater velocity potential, but N565 is more temperature stable, cleaner burning and generally provides greater accuracy potential. I'm starting with N565 and will try N560 if I'm not loving what I'm seeing in my 7PRC.

I've been seeing RL23 recently.
Slightly faster burning than RL26.
But a good powder also.
Have heard that Powder Valley has it with free hazmat.

I cant call them "replacements" but due to the lack of 26 my two 7prc 20" brl powders ended up being H1000 with a 180 bullets at 2825 and N570 with 175s. at 2790.Both accurate but slower than 26 would have been.
