RIP you crazy SOB

I get back into town after a week in the mountains and Ozzy and Malcolm Jamal Warner are dead? I can't take my eyes off America for a damn minute. And I'm doing another week around August 1 - make sure Alan Alda doesn't go swimming or driving after dark!

I completely agree. In my 20’s and 30’s someone died and it was kinda like yep.

Now people dying are folks that outside of friends and family, helped shape me.

Definitely hits a little different.
Facing your own mortality is a scary proposition. Kinda. I'll be 60 in January. Not old, but I am aware of the fact it's a downhill slide from here. Losing folks older that were a big part of your life hit me hard. Where did the time go? mtmuley

Went to several of the Ozzfests 96/97/99/00/01 Glen Helen pavilion. Grew up listening to him. Never forget when I was 12 (92) and we were catfishing all night and my uncle had drank a 18 pack of buds, too drunk to drive us home. We didn’t have any blankets. The ants had gotten in to the Oreos so we set em on fire to stay warm. my uncle covered me with the box from the 18 pack to keep me warm, the fish weren’t biting. He started playing a Ozzy cassette and my pole went nuts and I caught like a 15 lb catfish. We landed several more fish before that cassette ended and it was daybreak by then. From that point on we believed the catfish would bite if you played Ozzy.
