Rainbow Gathering Query Answer

More like Terra Devastata!

Rainbow gathering aftermath ... "Terra Preta" Really?!!!!

I wont disagree with you over the impact and the projected numbers freak me out. But if I had to chose between the impact of the two, I would be less freaked out with the Rainbow gathering than Sturgis. I am more of a naturalist hunter and both are not to my liking.

Hey, I do a hell of a lot of research on a wide variety of interconnecting subjects, especially primitive methods. Terra Preta rocks. Really!!!

Making Terra Preta Soil: Ramona's Recipe for Home-Made Dirt

by Ramona Byron

I once heard a joke that went like this:

An arrogant agnostic once challenged God that he could do anything that God could do. God said "very well" and accepted the challenge. God rolled up some dirt and fashioned a human out of it, who then became alive and ran away rejoicing and praising God's name. The agnostic sniffed, and reached down for a handful of dirt so he could make his own "improved" version of a human, who would of course immediately begin praising the agnostic's name even louder. But God held up his hand to stop him before he could even get started.

"Hold on there, young man," said God sternly. "You go make your own dirt."

So I saw this on the Gazette's website...the Rainbow Gathering owes the US $7500 for damages done to the roads and weed control. Why are they still allowed to use my gov't (where's Jose when you need him?) public lands with outstanding debt.

I'm not really concerned about this group as long as they clean up their mess and pay for the damages.
