Rabbit Hunters...what do you use?

Back in the day I used a 12 gauge but if I ever live somewhere there is good rabbit hunting I would buy a 20 gauge. 25 Years ago I bought a .410 for small game. EL cheapo I think its a New England brand. That thing never patterned very good So I used it on squirrels and vermin in the yard and kept using my 1100 12 gauge for hunting.

I use a little single shot 410. Works well enough, unless I miss.

So true! That’s why I have a Tikka bolt .22 to go along with my 7mm-HT. The price of ammo is about the same now though

PCP air rifle FX Crown in .22 shooting 18.1 gr pellets at 900 fps has about 33 fpe. Head shot, with moderator it’s so quiet that many times if there is another rabbit or dove close they don’t even move. I use it on Eurasian Doves and Quail too.
