Who suffered it, who endured and who had to go back again. ( I survived twice)

First time I was doing Battalion Warfare training, and on the second day Iraq invaded Kuwait.

"Sorry Y'all. You're Not going home any time soon!! "

Next time I went through the Warrant Officer 'Boot Camp'.

Both times, they tried to kill me.

So, here's the deal. You DO NOT get through Quantico without fight back. It's a horrid test, and you better stand up!

PEACE !

I had a slightly different experience than you Gunner. I was part of HMX-1 as a 53 mechanic. I spent my last year and a half there and had a good time there. Was there very late 89 through mid '91.

My brother hunts Quantico sometimes. His favorite "blind" is an old machine gun pit.

My cousin retired from the Marines as a Major at Quantico. I believe he was in Logistics when he left but he shot on the Skeet Team for a number of years. I use to go up and shoot with him and some of his friends. Met a BUNCH of men who I would NOT want to be in a gunfight with. I got to shoot a lot of cool stuff and met a bunch of guys who were gun nuts.
