Q: CVA Scout in 7mm08 single shot = what load?

My son would like to ask the forum for help : Trying to dial in a 7mm08 .( I need to hit the range with Buzz I guess?), but asking what load works best for you?

Sweet little rig - has a brand new Vortex Crossfire on top, and for the life of me, do not know what it is? If it is the short barrel?, barrel jumping? twist?, or what? but I cannot get this gun to drive tacks.

140 AB, or BT, 42.5gr Varget
150 BT, 40.5gr RL-15
120TSX 42.5 gr RL-15

One of those should get you off to a good start !
