Primers. Can I do this?

I am loading for a 308 and 270. Don't have many CCI200 large rifle primers left. Can I use the CCI 250 instead? Thanks.

Yes, maybe trim a half a grain, and work back up. There is a chance it will increase pressure a very slight bit.

Different cup thickness on magnum primers. Same primer composition. I'd drop my powder back and work back up to be sure.

What both of these guys said. It might even give you better groups depending on the powder you’re using.

No need to change powder charge. Every company is different in terms of what they label a magnum primer, but generally the difference is that the burn last longer. You really can’t fit more priming compound into a large rifle primer. They have little to no effect on pressure.

Speer has reloading data with magnum primers for the 270 which is what I'm going by

Yep go for it but I'd start over with load development purely because you may find a better load when doing so.
