Different question for you guys. I don't backpack, however I hope in 2 miles to waterfowl with a 13 and 9 year old.

I bring along a msr pocket rocket for boiling water for coffee/chocolate and the occasional peak biscuits and gravy.

I have been using an old pot from the house.

I'd like something lighter, less noisy.

1.5ish liters?

Thoughts?

I use a stainless steel BOT bottle/pot. I think mine is 1L, but fuel canister, stove, and a leather glove all stash inside it.

I use a titanium snow peak from REI. Cost me ~$45 for the cup and lid. For how much I've used it I see it as money well spent.

MSR Titan Kettle. I splurged for one about 4 years ago. It's been great but I'm sure there are other options that are around the same size and utility.
