Pom Pom Buffet

So we had new neighbors move in not along ago and I saw them planting some trees. I tried to explain they will become buffet for deer. Nah, they don't eat cedars....Where did you hear that? Friends from subdivision who knows trees. Uh huh. They don't know wild goats aka deer. So now they have Pom Poms as cedar trees out in front of their house. We have been collecting names:
Pom Poms
Lollipops
QTips

Anything else?

They told me other day their tree friend "just doesn't understand how this could happen"? What was funny was I saw them planting bulbs for spring flowers. Told them they will enjoy them! This time they said "Oh no"! Pointed down to my house and "no landscape shrubs or perennials". We tried and lost the war!

Also the dang critters have no fear! Climb right into landscaping! Or almost go into garage. But I do have a chest freezer in there.

I hunt on my property but doesn't matter!

My mom has a full blown garden and a doe that regularly has triplets as well as previous years kids. She mixes up an egg yolk and Cheyanne pepper mix in a big sprayer and sprays down the garden. Not sure the recipe exactly but I’m sure it’s on the internet somewhere. But she is the only one in the neighborhood with flowers in the spring.
