Grilled some venison flat Iron and sweet potato on the pellet grill. Wife threw together an arugula salad. Turned out really good.

Went dip netting for red salmon the other day, had a good haul. Tonight, Salmon patties, with sweet peppers, from the garden. Onion & garlic, capers & spice . Green house cucumber & tomato salad with balsamic dressing. Thinking to smoke the remainder.

How come all you tough guy hunters need to use those sticky thingies in the ends of the corn cob? I just use my fingers, can't lick the butter off your fingers if you use handles Can't wait for our corn to start producing in another couple weeks. Pretty good wrapped in foil on the smoker by the steak, have to remember to start it before the steaks though.
