Plate ‘em up

Does this count as a "plate 'em up" if I just ate off the cutting board?

Backstrap on the left.

Denver steak on the right. Also known as a mock tenderloin. Just happened across it while deboning a whitetail shoulder and recognized the cut.
surprisingly more tender than the backstrap with slightly more "meaty" flavor.
9/10, going out of my way to keep them from now on. Probably terrific off an elk
