I should have videoed these (1 snipe and 1 woodcock). They are amazingly fatty legs that hop around like mexican jumping beans on the grill. The legs are mighty small, but they are the best part. I would not have known this had it not been for @Ben Lamb.

I cooked up a doodle the other day and was generous enough to share it with the dog, who just turned her nose up at it.

I love woodcock, but it always weirds me out how the light and dark meat is in reverse with them.

Had 2 little potatoes that needed used up so I grilled a steak to go with them. Fancy plate to make John happy and have something to make a sink full to wash.

Had 4 deer femurs in the crock pot for over 24 hours making homemade bone broth. It was done this afternoon so I made ramen bowls with mushrooms, carrots, and quail eggs then jarred the rest.

That’s my go-to for eggs. Scrambled, fried, omelets. Doesn’t matter which way, it’s always good!

Made chilli Verde stew from the legs and thighs of my sons first Turkey tonight with a side of cornbread.

For some reason I froze mine and my son's turkey legs together so we had turkey again tonight. Turkey noodle soup! The instapot has turned turkey legs from one of my least favorite game meats to a top contender.
