Just got my MRI results back with PF diagnosis. This has killed my summer training walks. I was blaming my zero drop Altra trail runners, but I was in them for two years before this. Switching shoe has helped some, but not a lot.
Start five weeks of PT July 15th.

Read the MRI results in mychart. Ortho wasn't reached out to me for a FUP. I am calling them today.

I'm a little surprised they did an MRI for PF, but Google Stretching for PF and start doing them. You will discover your pain threshold. LOL. You should feel better in month. Good luck.

I dealt with this. Got the sleeping brace. And the stretching brace. Took about 3 months. But knock on wood gone after that. It started within a few weeks of new cowboy boots and wife getting the worlds heaviest quilt on top of the bed and tucking it in.
After getting through the PF she understands if blankets are tucked in it will not be when I get in bed.

I fought with it for a couple years. The sleep brace and aggressive calf stretching they prescribed at first actually made mine worse, for some reason. I found that stretching a little less aggressively, but focusing on the entire lower body (glutes, hammies, and calves) helped. Finally got through it and have been pain free for almost a decade now.

I wasn't presenting with PF. Pain is not in the sole of my foot but around the rim of my heel. Original thought was Achilles or tarsal trauma. Still need the FUP visit.
