Plant identification

Late to the plant talk...because I was out looking at plants 🤓

I'm going to say no to sweetcicily. I thinking I agree with something from Apiacaeae family (parlsey/carrot family). Wet forest edges are a nightmare. I'll consult a key once I'm not getting dinner

I'll stick with wild parsley, water parsley, carrot family. Root pics?
I had every book there is for the west & SW plants & trees and I have found most wrong on ranges. Seen plants & trees way higher/lower than thought and miles from edge of mapped range. In ranges & states they are not listed in. Wild.

I'm going to have to go with wild celery. Its also called marsh parsley.
probably has a few other names. I thought it was bleeding heart for a minute but as big as it is it would have already flowered probably.
hard to tell by pics sometimes.

I am a plant guy and I still use PlantNet app often. Not perfect but almost always gets you to the right genus
