I finally broke down and bought a digital camera, so I will probably get carried away with pics now more than ever. Yesterday morning we hit the Missouri River to map some pdog towns and inventory/spray weeds. Thought I would share a few pics of the trip.

Ran into these bucks on the trip down.

This pic is a little fuzzy but they were close to two hundred yards when I got the shot. The biggest of the three with a small kicker is just out of the shot.

Finally made it to the river and had it pretty much to ourselves.

I saw lots of sheep, but none of the big boys. Here is a young ram trying to get a drink.

He didn't like me above him, but didn't mind when he had the uper hand.

I even ran into a few youngsters along the way. They had no problem getting around in the steep, friable terrain.

Hey Miller,

If you are looking for weeds, I can help you out all over my back yard.....

What does "friable" mean?

And oh yeah, what kind of camera did you get?

Gunner.....it's a soil type word. Easily crumbled, or reduced to powdery dirt, loose and usually large grained, a light sandy soil. Of course your Buddy Paws would say it's a cooking word, like "them taters are friable".

Friable means he will get "fried" if he finds the right kind of weeds. ;)
