Nice view and rainbow. Crazy weather across your neck of the woods. My wife and I backpacked up Refrigerator Canyon Trail, intending to camp overnight at mile ten Kennedy Spring. When we reached the meadow up top at mile five, the snow was sticking, the temperature plummeted and we were soaked from rain below. It was obvious that snow was to continue, so we opted to abort and hike back down for hot coffee. So our excursion into the Gates of the Mountains Wilderness will have to be postponed for a warmer time. No parka, no choppers, no dry boots = no fun.
