Speaking of the black tip of the tail, I saw a Cross Fox carrying a dead rabbit this past sunday night. Less than 20 yards from me. I just could not get to the camera fast enough for the photo as it was moving at brisk pace. I have seen cross fox pelts on occasion before but never a live one. I was amazed at the markings. I did find a photo online that looks almost identical to the one I saw and am hoping to see again. A reference photo for those that have not seen a cross fox before:

Had friends from work over for a 4th BBQ last night and fire pit ! Enjoy the weekend everyone

Moved the sprayer down to the state highway for the 4th to wish all those who passed by a Happy Independence Day.
