RF, so far I can't complain. My first shot went in just over the heart and did a number on his lungs before passing through. He was good as dead from the first shot, but I have always tried to anchor an animal if they are still on their feet. I didn't recover either bullet on this bull, but they clearly did their jobs.
 
I've been looking forward to this one! I was ecstatic when I heard you had connected.

I wish I was there to help shuttle meat, but I think I'm just going to go watch Everest 3d in IMAX and pretend it's the same.
 
Glad to see that .260 works as good on Montana elk as it does on bears. Well done. That's a great first bull or great 10th bull for that matter.
 
Great result, you did as i did last year, first legal bull would be my target animal.
Sounds like a tough pack out though.
