Yea I can see that gross with all the trash added. It is a great set, and those H measurements are great and really add up on a 12 point

Still the same number H measurements. Just on a 4x4 the H-4 would be taken halfway between the center of the G3 and tip of the main beam.

I would think so. I'm not sure I've ever seen a typical 8 however.
