Nosler Accubond LR

Does anyone has experience with this projectile on elk and deer? I'm thinking of trying them in the 190 gr for the 300 RUM. Looks like they would perform out to 1500 yards. Although I would never shoot them that far, they do have excellent BC's.

LR doesn't stand for "whatever range game wants to appear at". You can probably expect sub-par performance at closer ranges.

Would love to hear any more input on how these have performed. I shoot and LOVE the standard Acubonds out of my .325 and would love to try the 190gr in my .308!

They work fine at close range. If closer range shots are normal, I'd suggest the 200 grain Accubond instead. mtmuley

In my limited experience and opinion, the Berger VLDs are more accurate and the traditional Accubond is a tougher bullet.

Neither bullet is really more "accurate" than the other. I shoot both in different cartridges and it just depends on the set up. mtmuley
