Whelp, training camp has started; Dez is happy, Brady is not, the Vikings are gonna PAY Adrian.

...and this;

Like em or hate em, pretty hard to bet against the Seahawks now with Jimmy Graham and all their young talent signed for the next 3 years

Not really. If not for a Green Bay meltdown, and a fricken miracle, Wilson would still be making 1.5 million. mtmuley

He threw an interception to lose the Super Bowl and still came out as the second highest paid quarterback in the league:D

The big problem with winning is everybody wants paid you can sign a few key guys to big contracts but you're going to lose a lot of important role players in the process. - Max Unger, Byron Maxwell, Malcolm Smith, O'Brien Schofield, Jeron Johnson, James Carpenter, Tony Mcdaniel. You have bennett skipping practices trying to get more money chancellor who is under contract but is currently in a training camp holdout.

It'll be interesting to see how Seattle handles the next couple of years.
Oh yeah and GO NINERS!

I just couldn't resist. . . .:D

Wilson is the real deal,but he ain't the Man yet, THE Man is going to crush the league this year.Haters beware, Patriots repeat.:D

Lynch should've been handing the ball to the ref for the extra point....I know, I know...could'a should'a would'a.

I got over all the money football (and other major sports) players get paid for playing a game. I know we live in a capalist economy so they get their money. So when a player gets millions I know it is because there are others making even more money.

So is all of that a blessing or a curse? If you take a look at all the quarterbacks that you mentioned and used in comparison when about half of them received their big time contracts their teams were not able to stay competitive due to lack of cap space.

I still remember all the Ravens fans talking about how great it was that Flacco receive that big time contract after winning the Superbowl. How have they done since then?

I am actually a fan of RW I would just be a little skeptical on whether or not this was a good thing if I was a Seahawks fan.

Russell Wilson's situation is nearly impossible to peg. Average O-line, elite running back, terrible receivers, incredible defense.

That said, he'll put butts in seats, sell jerseys and by all accounts is a good individual and loved by the community. The Hawks are in for some significant challenges as the cast seeks more money. Getting to where they are today was a tough feat for Schneider and Carroll, but the real test begins now.

I'm not sold on Wilson. Kaepernik set the NFL on fire too. This is the year Russel needs to prove himself. All the stats, and 1 ring is great. Two other QB's have done that. And they were/are better players than Wilson will ever be. Without that defense, he's dust. mtmuley
