Newest US Senate Land Sale Amendment

While I have numerous disagreements with Daines on policy, I am thankful for his efforts to beat back Lee's amendment to the BBB.

It is not possible for any two of us to agree on every single conceivable issue. So, anytime a politician finds common ground with me, I'll take it thankfully.

I was told this was coming, last night. Then I was told it was being held until a Parliamentarian decision was made today. I got that letter this evening and I was waiting for confirmation that it was OK to post. As a now public document, here it is.

If any of these folks are your Rep., please call them with support.

That is pretty firm language re: Mr. Lee - by "poison pill" I take to mean any inclusion of public land sales whatsoever in OB3 as dead on arrival. I think these guys all deserve our thanks for listening.
I read it the same way and a staffer confirmed that last night.

The crazy part is that Zinke and Simpson we saying that loud and clear last week when I was there. Both of their staffs told me I was at liberty to quote them on such. They asked me to crank up the volume and their staffs have been very helpful in clearing the air on what is going on.

Lee seemed to be in denial at that time, even optimistic. I think he still is in denial, though is smart enough to be less optimistic.

Let’s make sure we Thank the Congressmen who came out supporting.

When we are pissed we call ten times but if we are happy we often forget. I already Thanked Simpson but will do so again. I will go ahead and email the others since these public lands transcend state lines.

Thanks for the updates and keep up the good work.

great to hear! Shocker that Rep. Hageman didn't join that list...not really after seeing her throw every question regarding public lands in the trash (literally in front of her constituents who asked those questions). Will be sending thank you's to every single one of those reps. that actually stood up for their constituents tonight.
