I picked up Ms Fritzie in Asotin,Wa the end of June, my 6th shorthair. She's a nice little girl and shows great promise. We exposed her to the gun and some water retrieving yesterday. She likes it all.
It appears the quail numbers will be better this fall so the bird encounters ought be good for a pup.

Good lookin girl. I'll bet she will outgrow that spot under the table pretty soon though :).

That is a cutie. Maybe we will run into one another chasing those pesky red legs this fall. Good luck with the new pup!

Great looking dog! I'd love to live in a place with enough birds and access to justify a bird dog. Good luck to you two this fall!

What a nice looking dog. She's looking at that wicker coffee table leg and thinking "when I get a little bigger I'm gonna chew the hell out of that, and I'll be so fast no one can catch me to paddle my butt".

Gorgeous! Have fun!

JLS > you wrote my thread. hahahaha 'that wicker table is going to be a great chew toy.'
(my lab chewed 58 pickets of our deck years ago as a pup - beavered one picket all the way through. )

Chewing...........I'm attempting as well as possible to have things to chew on and things that are NOT to be chewed upon!
However at 11-12 weeks she still needs constant correction!
