New Boat

Just got my new boat home. Parking shouldn't be a problem haha. Here in New Zealand we have a lot of inshore fishing and I will be targeting kingfish on live baits.

Yes, there are kingfish in Wellington especially on the west coast.

What boat did you buy? That a center console? Tried to zoom in a bit. Phones don't do justice for that task. We just bought one ourselves for similar options. Curious what you have, how you plan to ourfit it or how it's set, etc.

The boat is a Senator 540. Its a fairly simple set up and my daughters response was where are the seats haha.

Its built for fishing with open desk space. It does have a live bait tank and plenty of rod holders. Here's another photo showing the deck.

Took my ‘new’ boat out after celebrating drawing a MT big game combo. And here’s the fish I’ve caught so far. A kingfish, gurnard and a small snapper (while a legal size I only kept it as the hook was too deep to release)

I wish I had more photos @vanish Its mid winter here so haven't been out much recently and the fishing has dropped off. Even the hunting has been on hold as we had had some big winter storms recently here in New Zealand.
