Nevada 2026 buck

I ended up taking this 3x3 buck on the last day of season after 8 days of hunting. We saw one pretty good buck on the first day but I wanted to wait at least until we looked over some other bucks.
I think it was a couple of weeks too soon for the rut to come on.
Over the course of the week we saw 11 other bucks, the best one being a nice 3x4 on day 3. We also watched 2 different herds of elk with 2 big 6x6 bulls and a couple of raghorns.
This time we got to enjoy the hunt with my son for a few days. He's getting married in a few weeks.

Taste is very good, no gameyness of a rutty buck.
I think it was a young buck and it also had quite a bit of fat.
As far as location it was near Pioche NV.

Thanks for the feedback. I will be driving thu Nevada for the next few days Given my age almost 79 and how hard the nevada draw is for NR's i doubt I would ever draw but I sure love that north part of Nevada.
