North Brooks Range Caribou hunt - 2026

Total cost is $6,294.75 PER Person (Minus our deposits). ArrowHead requests the remaining balance by May 1st, 2026

.

Please contact Arrow Head with technical or trip questions

Please serious inquries only!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to hunt an already booked out season. Especially, since prices increase every year!

Arrowhead Outfitters’ NBR Caribou Hunters averaged a 90% success rate for the past 6 seasons (2020-2025)

Supply and demand. This hunt was booked in 2024 so the price was locked. If you booked a hunt now, you’d be looking at 2027 or 2028. Also, price has increased at least $1,000.

This is an experience to hunt in the Arctic Circle. By all means, you can still hunt off the haul road if your willing to hike 5 miles outside the buffer zone.

Guided hunts are pushing $20k now. Fly in diy hunts are stupid expensive because the line pole that will pay it is long. Same with moose.

Not a lot of options out there these days. Get em while their hot because we have half the caribou we did 10 years ago and they aren’t coming back in my lifetime.

3 of us did this trip back in 2016. At the time this outfit had a mixed reputation but our trip worked out fine. I think the outfit might have changed hands since then. It was an adventure, but we did not see an abundance of caribou, we basically killed everything we saw within about a mile of camp. Back then you could buy 2 tags and they weren't that expensive, that has changed. We got 3 bulls and a cow in 4 days of hunting and decided that was enough, and were able to get picked up a day early. My main memory of the trip was making 5 or 6 trips across the tundra packing out caribou about a mile, man what a slog! I'm pretty sure the outftter cost was under 3k back then, with airfare, hotels, truck rental, and camping equipment rental we each spent under 5k. I'm glad we went but I'm in no hurry to go back. But if you ever want to do an Alaska hunt this might be as cheap as you'll ever get, unless you've got friends or relatives up there. Or can hike 5 miles of tundra along the haul road, or bow hunt.
