Thanks guys, I was tickled to death to have a buck like that.............yea, the eye thing............crazy story. Buck was coming in to the calling and was about 15 yards out when i drew my bow. I don't know what the heck happened but before i even hit my anchor point, the bow went off premature (likely due to shakey hands) just happened to be thats where the misfire went was to graze right off the skull right below his eye. When he turned to run, i grunted at him and he stopped at about 18 yards. I nocked another arrow and drew and settled the pin and shot.

If you hit them in the eye on the first arrow, they can't see you shoot the second oneLOL

Oh, and even though i filled on the first day, i stayed there while my two buddies tried to fill out. One finally ended up killing a 130 class deer on the last day.

Was central Kansas.
