Neighbors are a loosely used term. Even if you live a mile away from them they're considered neighbors. I've held the deer, I don't need to talk to you anymore. Go shoot some more 160" bucks.

I saw this photo in Red Rock Sporting Goods in Miles City probably 20+ years ago. Still probably my favorite mule deer photo of all time. The deer, the classic country...all of it.

I didn’t deserve anything haha. I shot the buck my hunting partner had a lot of time into. He deserved him but that’s hunting and it goes full circle.

Pretty sure he didn't cry himself to sleep and was happy for you. Good stuff.

That says something about genetics in those parts and what could happen if they get old. Imagine that guy at 7-8.
