Definitely the fires are no joke. 1 of my early season alternatives is closed due to fire and another is at risk from a different fire. Our work near Glacier is shut down because of smoke.

If anyone remembers in 1988 archery season was delayed by two weeks if I remember correctly. Water sources were at a premium and most streams were a trickle or dried up.

Hot and dry, will change a lot of hunting spots but we need to look for new spots since the animals will move to food. Looking for new spots is challenging but very rewarding and I enjoy looking over new country.

Yeah, the fires are no joking matter. I was out today and the smoke was so bad, you couldn't even glass more than 1/4 mile.
