I drew a goat permit. It has been 18 years since I took my first goat I am starting to get excited. I will be 40 before I can apply again in MT. It is possible that this could be my last MT goat permit I intend to make the most of it.

I figure it's gonna be 6-9 miles in depending on which drainage I pick to go up. And I am afraid you are right, I will likely waste away to nothing with all the scouting and hunting I plan to do this fall.
