Montana allowed kids 15 and under 2 days of hunting before the general season started.
So we took advantage of this opportunity.
A eastern Montana landowner allowed us to hunt his place on Friday. This place is were I shot my first deer 32 years ago. My dad started hunting this piece of property in the late 50's. there are alot of memories here for me, my dad and now my sons.
My youngest son Josh was on his first deer hunt. He shot a nice looking buck while we were sitting between a bedding area a alfalfa field. The smile says it all.
Jake my oldest son made a great shot on his whitetail. He was following it throught the trees and when it stopped a well place shot through the heart put him down. This kid has not missed since shooting his first deer three years ago that is 2 antelope, another deer and a elk.
