All I know is I had a buddy apply for an elk tag and it didn’t show up in the system. He called them and they said everything is fine we will take care of it. He asked if he drew and they said we can’t tell you that.

Did he list a 2nd choice along with a 1st choice that was supposed to be the 1st and only choice? If so, maybe his app was voided therefore neither successful or unsuccessful. ??

Unsuccessful for elk combo with one point but somehow managed to get a deer point, I haven't applied for deer or bought a point.

Also, I’m not aware of any units that are first and only choice. There are some that you can only apply for as a first choice, but that doesn’t mean you can’t put a second choice behind them.

Either way, it doesn’t apply to me.

Nah this can’t happen. I already told my manager I’m taking the month is Sept off because I drew my LE elk permit.

I heard the same thing. Draw didn’t take into account everyone’s bonus points. Just sent them my thoughts hopefully they redraw and save any little bit of legitimacy they have.

You are right they probably won't will just give everyone who applied for LE and didn't draw their tags like they did for the outfitted clients and their general tags last year
