Miz is a beast! but for how long
I tuned in to the first few innings while waiting on the Braves rain delay, and then went back and watched the last couple when the Braves were getting thumped. He’s pretty special. I hope he stays healthy.Well if you missed it, complete game shut out. 1 hitter, faced the minimum 27. 15k
Schwarber hit a 91 MPH slider for the only base hit. I texted my buddy when it happened that I think I would have made Schwarber prove he could catch up to 103.I dont think I've ever watched a game where a pitcher dominated on the mound quite like that. He was just tossing strikes and they couldn't even get it in play. 10 to 12 pitch innings is all it took to strike out the side.
SF already made it known that their parts are for sale. Seems they would have to eat a lot of the contracts of Devers, Adames, or Chapman. Bet they get some interest in Arraez and Robbie Ray.So I wonder when the fire sale in San Fran and San Diego is going to start. Some of those contracts are baaaaaaad
Was a great game with both teams having their chances to open that game up but it stayed tight. Solid pitching and some great defense really turned the momentum back and forth. Looking forward to the encore tonightBraves beat tha Miz but damn he’s a beast. 104 on the corner is just impossible.
Hope Chris Sale returns to his early May version. He’s been a little shaky (for Chris Sale) the last three starts. Was a great game with both teams having their chances to open that game up but it stayed tight. 5 scoreless but gave up 2 in the 6. Completely opposite pitchers, The braves guy hit 88 with his fastball!Braves beat tha Miz but damn he’s a beast. 104 on the corner is just impossible.
I think Father Time might be catching up to himHope Chris Sale returns to his early May version. He’s been a little shaky (for Chris Sale) the last three starts.
They said it in the post game radio show. I think it was 57 scoreless with 1 earned run in 60. Something like that. What was the stat before he gave up the runs? Something like only one earned run in his past 60 innings! That’s incredible!
More impressive to me was was i think 40 batters faced without getting to a 3 ball countThey said it in the post game radio show. I think it was 57 scoreless with 1 earned run in 60. Something like that.
I don’t think so. He’s been mostly solid all year. He’s like a fine wine!I think Father Time might be catching up to him
