Down 8-1, the Crew comes back and wins 10-8. 13 in a row. Unreal.
"(Christian Yelich) told me on the bench, straight up, it was 8-1, he said, 'We're going to win this game,'" manager Pat Murphy said. "How do you make that statement? He looked at me and said, 'we're going to win this game.' And then... it happened."

"Do not wake us up from this dream" - Lane Grindle after Contreras 2 run shot in the top of the 9th to go up 2 to 1.

Just remember that Contreras was a Brave for a short time, and then they traded him away along with several other prospects for Matt Olson. He’s done well for the Brewers for sure.

Braves are finally showing some life… WAY too late

Here I was, beginning of July, ready to start talking up my Tigers. Then they go and take a dump for 3 weeks straight. Finally back on the positive side of a couple of series wins, but still not looking like the late May, early June tigers that looked like the Brewers do now😉. At this point we are just staying hopeful to make the playoffs!

At least we aren't the Whitesox! I was traveling with the family today and stopped in a Culvers and they had the Savannah Bananas on and the Southside stadium was the fullest it will be all year!

I listened to the brewers game this afternoon . It sucks for the brewers tonight’s game was postponed until tomorrow. The cubs were forced into the bullpen early this afternoon and the brewers could have really made them pay with a double header. Hopefully that streaks can continue tomorrow.

Yup no doubt, they got lucky. Brewers will continue to feast tomorrow though I'm sure. Grindle today made the comment that the brewers are sharks right now and the water is full of chum.

Going to the Uecker funeral at the ballpark on Sunday. Having met him and worked on his house ages ago, it will be an emotional day for everyone I'm sure. Hopefully he is there to watch us win that day

I keep getting fed these Cubs centric groups on Facebook… and it is just wonderful experience to watch from the outside 😈
That T-Rats team is looking like a lot of fun right now, too. We went right before they made all of the roster swaps and got Made and Pena up there, but not sure I’ll get to another.

Were those the worst 2 back to back games all season for the Brewers? Hopefully they turn it around today. How often do 5 game series happen?

Wasn't a great result on the score board but if you watched/listened to both games it was nothing about how they played. They hit the ball hard and just weren't finding the holes where the Cubs were. This metric is from yesterday. Look at all the Brewers batters above both the metric red lines compared to only a few cubs. Minimum AB 6.

I listened to both games off and on. They had costly errors in both games which they have been able to avoid for the most part. Brandon Wooddruff seems to have lost velocity the last 2 starts. He struggled to hit 92 with his fastball and a tight zone from the ump did not help his cause.

What a nail biter! This series feels like October! @seeth07
I will also add on the AL side, the Detroit/Houston series felt very much like playoff baseball as well. The energy in the stadium for the walk-off 10th inning walk was like the ALCS. Here's hoping my kitties can make a deep playoff run.
