Well, if that's the case it obviously means SOMEONE was a cheapskate and didn't pony up the cash to get you all a complete 6 pack! :D
 
VERY dark, heavy, thick. Left a somewhat gritty after taste. Split it with my colligate son, and we both decided it was NOT a Lite beer. I'll stick with my ol' standby, Icehouse Extra.

Gritty means it was made using a lump of coal, hence the name.

Hey it only scores a 79 on Beer Advocate. it's a bit of a holiday gimmick.

Craft beer tasting can be as snobby as Wine connoisseurs. Once you find a style you like, finding new breweries and tasting their versions becomes fun. Then keeping track of all the different beers to see how many unique beers and beer styles you can try is fun. There are 104 different beer STYLES on Beer Advocate. I tend to like Red Ales and Bitters the best.
