Mine are still just sitting there

I think the post is funny.
I think some people are just looking for a reason to get their pantties in a bind.

Dead kids tend to do that to me.

My only point was Schmalt's timing, sense of decency, and common sense are, well, piss poor.

Sorry Fin.

Schmalt's, I felt the meaning. And I thought the same so I guess we're both twisted sick. My thought is they are saying that gun powder was used. At least the residue they're finding points that direction. So next on the left agenda will be gun powder background checks. Really doesn't matter I spose cuz the shelves have been bare for years. Yes it's a damn shame but in todays world it is a fact we live with. Say a prayer, Hope, and live your life as best you can. I won't continue on with the rest of my thoughts as they aren't usually well recieved here. Have a good evening all, and may the grace of God be with you.

Point taken, Schmalts. Tjones, a heckuva lot more kids are killed by the minute, as a result of all sorts of things: hunger, diamonds, oil, drunk driving, drug running - name it. It doesn't make the situation in Boston any easier to swallow, but if you want to stop the world for the death of one child you're going to be pretty busy. Picking and choosing one boy doesn't seem any better to me, somehow.

Carry on.

Kids get killed daily by drunk drivers. It is never too early for MADD to get out and protest. Once again, I am not an insensitive a-hole that tjones would lead to belive. I do a lot more for charity and good causes than most would even believe. I think some also get wound up when a point hits home and they were on the other side of the opinion and hate to admit it. Still the point is, laws are stupid if not enforced. I posted data on the other thread about expanded background checks on the pathetic amount of prosecutions that came from the felons rejected on a background check. Feel good laws do nothing, enforcement and logical thiking does.

Unlike schmalts (and some others), my first, second or thirds thoughts were NOT "what am I going to lose after this". Call me crazy.

Can you be respectful and vigilant at the same time?

I don't think anyone here feels less hurt by what happened in Boston.

Tony, I understand both of your viewpoints...and respect both, but where's the indignation for instant tragedy exploitation to advance a well known lefty position with trite socialist dictums that won't do anything but encumber law abiding citizens?

I find it hilarious that somebody tries to brand you when they never met you are know nothing about your charitable contributions or what you done for society to help those in need. It is also something people do when they cannot refute a statement or point being made. They will try to brand you as something of a hater, heartless or other means that is straight out of the liberal PC playbook. I know what I am and what others think does not bother me.

I agree with that assessment, Schmalts. By the same token, demonizing those who don't agree with your stance is not a position owned by the libs. Both sides utilize this strategy - much easier to do than actually discuss and debate important issues. Much more divisive as well.

I find it sickening that someone would have a site with such sensitive images of the aftermath. I also find it disgusting that one of out own would provide a link, here on Hunt Talk. T Jones, I award you the "Biggest Turd Award".

...it's those who cling to their guns and religion who cause all the trouble. ;)
