Good for you. I'm not sure I could have passed up the first one. Maybe once or twice, but he kept giving you shot after shot... I don't think I could have done it. Thanks for sharing that cool hunt!!

You aren’t the first person to tell me that I was crazy for passing up that gnarly looking first buck that came in to the decoy. I actually passed him up 15 minutes into my first day out there. Reason being was I saw a giant that was even bigger than the one I shot the evening I got there and saw him locked down with a doe in a CRP field a mile East of the farm I was on.
